What a random find! We went to Eddie Joe's after the Purdue Christmas Show. Driving up in the dark I thought I made a reservation at a local bar. But this place is fantastic- great brisket, top notch pizza (if you're lucky enough to go on a pizza night). We tried the sliders too - a great intro to their meats. The stuffed jalapenos are huge! A little loud but no more than some of my other favorite places. Super friendly staff too. I heard the 1st Sunday of the month is a bloody mary bar... we will be back to check it out & more of the menu!
We thoroughly enjoyed a brisket burrito with rice and beans and a piggy pork sandwich with side of fries. The meals were spot on with full flavor and fantastic service from Riley. Thank you Ice House for an awesome meal with good service.
I found this place from Google, thought we'd try it, and it is definitely added into our outing rotation. Food was flavorful, tender and the service was fast friendly and treated you like family.
I went on a Friday night, ordered to go, The rack of ribs were delicious and fall off the bone. I also got the 12oz steak well done and man I man. It was so delicious and juicy, with nice burnt pieces. I got the baked potato which was delicious loaded with cheese. The sides for coleslaw were good, I like it more tangy, but it did the job. I was disappointed in the side salad but hey what was I thinking, I regret not getting another baked potato that was bomb . Com. This place was suggested on our trip to Lafayette, was a drive but our food was ready to pick up by the time we got there. Services were friendly and timely. Thank you for the awesome food. Also I couldn't wait to get home to eat, so I ate in the car the smell was amazing Also it looks like your driving into a forest but trust the trip it's there. Everyone kept teasing me where I was taking them. I said I don't know either it's a adventure
Friendly atmosphere and clean. I have never been disappointed with any food I have ordered from here. On Thursday evening, they serve pizza, and they are BIG. We have ordered a few of the different pizzas this one pictured is the Buffalo Chicken Bacon Ranch.
This place is GREAT! Everything we had was so good. We started off with a half order of the Pulled Pork Nachos. We then got the Brisket Platter with the beans and Sweet Potato Tots. The Brisket was a bit spicy but it didn't linger, my boyfriend likes spicy and didn't think it was. LOL The beans and the tots were good! We also got the Pulled Pork Platter with South West Mac & Cheese and fries which were perfectly crispy. The muffin with the pecan butter is Delicious! The only thing that would make it better would be a marshmallow sauce to dip the Sweet Potato Tots in. I'm going to say this has been the best BBQ place we have been to that has hit everything on point! We were lucky and were there right at 5. If you are there much after I would say it's best to make a reservation.
What a surprise. Eddie Joe's has amazing barbeque, sweet sides, a down home atmosphere, and People's Brewery on draft. The sweet potato muffin is especially good with the pecan butter. Staff is friendly and the chef visited our table. Will definitely be back.
